About Me

maneatsrecipes
Cooking for me in the past has always been a daunting task, it reminds me of when I first tried to cook a simple omelet didnt know much about seasoning and it showed!! Anyway I always strived at being totally self sufficient, and I figured that if i can cook my own food and not have to rely on my mommy! that would be the way to go. But the problem wasI didnt have the foggiest clue on the first thing about cooking a decent meal. And I didnt want to buy a bunch of pans, spatulas, and other cooking utensils in the beginning. Not to mention all my friends thought I was a nut! So something inside me told me to go ahead and take the plunge into culinary arena. I decided to just borrow my moms pots, pans, and cooking utensils for the trial run to decide if this was really something I can do. Not going to mention how many books and courses I have taken but it was a few! And I watched my mom cook quite a bit more since my interest was peaked. Then she sadly passed away in 1997, but I did manage to learn quite a bit from her during her time here.
